My stay in Israel is especially short this time and it is already drawing to a close!  I was up early this morning to meet with Dr. Eli Nacht in his office at City Hall.  We have been friends for a long time and even though we had lunch yesterday, he wanted me to see both his municipal office and his new Law office which is directly across the street.  His sweet wife, Inna, is a wonderful administrator and runs the law office.  The three of us had a light breakfast together and then I had to hurry home to pack and say goodbye to Ashdod as we headed for the Sea of Galilee...

The Beit Hallel church uses a unique private retreat center that overlooks the Sea of Galilee for all kinds of small group events!  It is quiet, meditative and beautiful!  I have several hours off tomorrow which is a first since I arrived.  I have loved every minute of our full schedule and the Holy Spirit has overwhelmed all of us with His love and power!  But I am tired... so time to soak alone in His Presence for a few hours tomorrow is all I need to get back on track!

Then in the evening I will speaking to all the young people here- ages 15-35, including the leaders!  We know if the Holy Spirit takes over it will be life changing for all of us!!    (One special gift from the Lord and the church, was a room here at the retreat, just for me- it overlooks The Sea and the beautiful setting around it- it's breathtaking!!)

So, we are earnestly seeking in prayer, for the Holy Spirit to directly intervene in our time together and that His special purpose for each of these beautiful young lives will be fulfilled!! (Sason Pochtar is doing a tremendous job as the new leader of this largest Messianic youth group in Israel!)

Tuesday, I leave for Tel Aviv where I hope to catch my flight to Kenya! Juan Carlos and I are planning to meet up in Nairobi on the 17th, by God's grace!   I hope that each of you who read this blog are encouraged and can see the same love and power of the Holy Spirit working out God's perfect plan in your lives as well!  It is the same God all over the World who is always looking for the one whose heart is fully devoted to Him!  II Chronicles 16:9a...   In His love,  jerry

I momentarily put myself in the shoes of one of the teens in the pictures, experiencing this quiet, loving and hugging man from Seattle. I pray that God will warm their hearts when Jerry speaks to them. A special time.

Thank you Jerry. Praying God concludes your time there with everything completed that He intended. Grateful as well to hear He is giving you rest. I know He will speak truth to these young people and Jesus will grow in their hearts. God's peace and grace to you me friend.

This is just a test. I have not been able to post the past few days.

I find it so amazing that you might be sleeping in a spot (minus the hotel, bed and amenities) where Christ also laid His head. It boggles the mind - the history that is soaked into every pebble and stone! I know the rest is welcome and I pray you are revelling in it. Dawn and Erik have our dear friends, Ben, Melanie and the whole Bestland clan visiting. They all look fit, happy and content. Seems that every time they visit you and Sue are out of town or the country. One of these times, you all will be in the same place. I would like to get a picture of you and them to go along with their wedding pictures. That would be fun, don't you think? Take care my friend and get out their and bring some souls to Jesus!!!!!.
