Our Pastor

Dave graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and spent 10 years serving as the Young Life South Seattle Area Director. For 15 years, Dave has ministered as a bi-vocational pastor serving both at Salt & Light and as a Teacher at Highline School before going fulltime as our head pastor in September 2019.

Loving Jesus and sharing life together as His family are some of Dave's greatest passions. He is an adept teacher of God's Word and finds great joy in learning and teaching others.

Dave has been married to his best friend, Judy, for over 35 years. They have raised two sons. When not teaching Sunday School or providing pastoral care, Dave can be found spending time with his family, working in the yard at their home in Des Moines, and playing board games with friends.
