Jesus Christ Salt and Light Church is a group of believers whose primary mandate comes from what Jesus called the Two Great Commandments (Matt. 22:36-40, Mark 12:28-31): “To love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves.” We understand that they are not only the Great Commandments but that they are in order. So our first priority is to pray and seek the will of God before anything else in our lives. The second command we understand to mean that our love for others must not only be affection but practical - that we should desire for others the same things we would desire for ourselves (James 2:15-16, Matt. 25:40).
With this in mind, God has led us into disciple making relationships around the world where we grow in love for God and one another as we come alongside those who are meeting the basic needs of the poor and invest in leaders God is and has been raising up to serve their country.
