This young girl just was sitting at the entrance to the restaurant we were taken to for lunch after spending the day at the refugee camp!  I noticed her glancing over at me several times and when I would wave, she would look away very quickly!  I asked one of our leaders if he would ask her if we could buy her lunch, but she refused.  She said her mom had only told her to go to the restaurant and wait for someone’s leftovers, then she was to bring them home for her mom to eat!  I am not sure if we got the translation exactly right, but she was on a mission, and had her orders! (We should be so faithful with Christ!)

So we went to the staff and purchased a full meal for her to take home.  When the chef heard what was going on, he added a double portion- and I heard our brother say the meat alone was over two pounds! It was a joy for everybody who was a part of this, but I can only imagine a very hungry family at home when they opened that package! Fishes and loaves…!!

What an amazing God we have!!!

I am humbled that God has made me a steward of riches instead of having a role of not having enough to eat. I am also thinking of the looks on the faces of the girl and mother when they saw the filled basket. That food came from God, through Jerry and the restaurant staff.

Reminds me of the song it only takes a Spark to get a fire going, and then all those around will warm up to its glowing…. Father God let the givers be showered with your Love kindness and mercy too!

When I give out food or other things from my car, I say "God had your name all over this burger this morning, you need to know you are NOT forgotten."
Everyone needs to know they are loved and not forgotten.

Our prayers continue. Thank you for the Love of God you remind them of.

Isaiah 41:17
“The afflicted and needy are seeking water, but there is none,
And their tongue is parched with thirst;
I, the Lord, will answer them Myself,
As the God of Israel I will not forsake them."

You are indeed an international pastor. Ministering to people you have been building relationships with for decades. God uses you in a mighty way and allows us the privilege of sharing in these miracles through your blog writings. His hand is on you, has been and always will be. You are blessed. You are loved. You are an obedient servant of our deliverer, our savior, our God. So thankful for you and the God we serve. Safe travels home. Prayers for continued healing and supernatural energy.
