As many of you are aware, I will be leaving for the next mission trip this coming Tuesday- August 9th!  I have come to realize that every Country in the World is inextricably connected to one another!  It could be a beautiful thing like the picture the Bible uses of the body and the necessity of every part as they serve the whole by carrying out their various functions!  But it can also take a diabolical turn and like a cancer, be bent only on destruction...

Right now there are renewed rocket attacks between Israel and the Palestinians in the Gaza strip which always brings destruction and death with it!  Ukraine's War with Russia continues to escalate, along with the suffering- bombing, death and the daily necessities of life are becoming even more difficult to secure- food, medical supplies and fuel are harder to find and more expensive than ever!

Ukraine's woes are spilling over into other parts of the World including our dear children in Africa.  Much of the World's grain supply and Sunflower oil have either been destroyed or confiscated, causing food prices to skyrocket and adding millions to the roles of those who are facing starvation!!

I don't know how we can continue to feed the same number of children we have been serving for the past 7 years, which is a matter of life and death for them! But God knows... so we are going to see what more we can do for these beautiful children of the Lord and I am praying we might some how find food for the parents and grandparents who are volunteering daily to help us feed their kids but are starving themselves...   Things are never hopeless though because we have an invincible, all powerful, compassionate, infinitely creative, loving God and with Him nothing is impossible!!   Thanks for your faithful prayers and partnership in reaching the World together with the practical Love of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the Whole World!                                                                                                                                                       In His love,  jerry

We come to you, Lord God Almighty, and ask you to open the windows of heaven and pour out your riches on these people who are suffering and who are caught in circumstances that are beyond their control. We know you are a God of compassion and mercy. We know you have called us to share in your generous heart. And so we come in faith knowing you are the one who can solve this and meet these needs. We love you and thank you for loving us.
