Our dear brother Gennadii Pilipenko has been a stalwart from the very beginning of these terrible days of War in Ukraine.  He is a Regional leader and 1000's of people in towns and villages all over the East depend on work they are doing through their church! I have been there often but can't imagine the tremendous pressure of these days of mortal conflict!

Shalom, dear Jerry!

The Lord continues to send us His protection. We believe that He does this in answer to your prayers and the prayers of many saints.

Everything is good in our family. Recently, the Lord gave us a vacation. Lena and I went to Bukovel and spent 8 days in the Carpathians. While there, we marveled at the beauty of God's creation, especially the mountains. Mom and dad feel the same as before.

Jerry, we thank you for your prayers for Leonid's heart surgery. The surgery went well, but the chest incision is healing slowly. The families of our children and grandchildren are also doing well. The third child, a girl, is expected in the family of Danika and Lily.

For some time we have been praying that the Lord would give us the opportunity to buy a private house that would be a little larger than our apartment. Now Lena and I have only one small room. This does not allow us to invite any family, or a group of pastors, or even to gather all the children and grandchildren together at home for a talk. Our apartment has already been put up for sale in the documents of the real estate agency, but so far people in Kharkov are very rarely buying a home. Many want to sell a house or apartment, but not many want to buy it. Lena and I continue to pray and wait for the time for God's answer.

In the church, too, service continues with God's blessing. So many people come to pastoral meetings three times a week. After the sermon, we distribute food parcels to them when supplies are available. These days, the daytime children's camp on the territory of the church is ending, in which many children from non-church families take part. By the beginning of the school year, the church makes gifts from school supplies for 200 children. These children will participate in worship and a prayer of blessing will be performed over them for the coming school year.

For the ministry of our church, we currently need financial support (for the purchase of certain products, transportation costs, support for volunteers, assistance for treatment, operations, and more). We believe that in response to the prayers of the saints, the Lord will continue to help.

How is your health? How is the family? What new steps in the ministry has the Lord revealed to you?

Accept greetings from dad and mom, as well as from all our children and grandchildren. On August 14, we celebrated the 35th anniversary of our family, with children and grandchildren we walked in the park, and then had dinner together. We thank God that He loves us so much.

Say hello to Sue. We love you, appreciate your love and pray for you. We desire the Lord to richly bless every step of your life.

In the love of Jesus,

Gennadii
