This is a letter from our dear brother Dr, Lev Prystupiuk. I have known him since he was in high school 20 years ago. He is the UN representative to all of the countries in the former Soviet Union, except for Russia. (He is standing up in the back of our picture in the blue shirt.)  His mother, Marianne, his brother Max and wife Julia, and his sister Liuda, are all doctors and professors at the Kiev Medical school. They are some of our dearest friends anywhere in the world.

Shalom, dear my friend Jerry, Now we are all in prayers and pour on God's mercy for Ukraine. Our whole family stands for Ukraine, and we all support of all the inhabitants of the country. Max now works in the very epicenter of military events and provides surgical assistance to both the military and the civilian population. Liuda collected 12 k euros during these days and donated them to the Come Back Alive charity foundation. Mom and I are engaged in evacuating women and children from those regions where it is possible. Today I evacuated a pregnant woman from the area where the car refused to go. Unfortunately, we cannot evacuate the population that is currently under fire. My family and I were very grateful to you for any support. All of this support will be dedicated to medical needs. And most importantly, pray for peace in Ukraine. Our family and I ask you very much to pray for Max, as he is now under shelling. He spends the night and operates in the hospital and cannot leave the hospital. We all trust in the mercy of our Lord God. In His faith, lev

I am so grateful to hear from these people who are so bravely facing this crisis. It truly gives new life to prayer for them and for the situation. May God glorify himself and all that happens! Before he can cause all things to work together for good for those that love him and are called according to his purpose.
