God's peace to you dear friends!  Thank you for following the blog and staying up to date as you earnestly pray and intercede for our dear brothers and sisters in Ukraine! A month ago no one could have imagined that family, friends and neighbors would be killed and wounded and their beautiful, historical cities reduced to rubble!  But this is now a reality! Many of our loved ones in Ukraine are pouring their lives into caring for refugees, the poor and transporting food, medicine, and supplies into dangerous areas to give lifesaving relief to those in need!  Their faith has stood firm even in the most horrific of circumstances!  So far we have not only committed ourselves to prayer on their behalf but God has given us the grace to send $30,000 into the most desperate places to meet immediate needs! You may be familiar with many names of the Cities in Ukraine that are in the news on a daily basis- Kiev (the Capitol), Kharkiv, Dnepro, Chernivtsi and central Ukraine.  We have sent money through personal friends to each of these places, who in turn, have been able to get these funds into violent areas for our pastors and doctors to purchase these life saving supplies! Our Great God and King is Loving and Faithful and continues to guide and protect each of these amazing saints as they go about His work using even the most horrific situations to redeem, to save and to restore what the enemy has tried to kill, steal and destroy!  Thank you again for standing so faithfully with God and His Church in their hour of need!  In His love,  jerry and sue

(Chernivtsi)   Shalom dear Jerry, ... May the LORD Bless Your night rest and trip to the East Coast. Thank You for Your prayers for us Brother!!!! Today we start a mobile hospital for refugees in our city, with a help from Samaritan's Purse ministry. We praise GOD for a new way HE takes care of people in need. Praying for You Brother

(Kiev)   Hello our dear friends!  Thank God for His mercy to us all!  Thanks to Him we can feel each other even when we are away.  Even when my mother was alone in those inhuman conditions in the cold and very sick.  She had health problems before the war and the stress of visiting her made it worse.  We are currently waiting for medicine for her from Lviv.  Thank you very much again for your financial support because I don't know how we would pay for this medicine for her.  Our son guards his post and learns to serve and shoot.  My heart is broken to pieces.  We are looking for a thermal imager for him.  My husband travels to Ukraine by car with an escort.  They try to provide soldiers and volunteers with everything they need.  Whether it is humanitarian aid or tools.  The store still has products that are not always the most economical, but thank God it is still there!  Max sent me 29,500 hryvnias now we have 13,026 hryvnias.  And it warms my heart a lot.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!  God bless you !!  We love and hug you!

(Kharkiv)  Hello Jerry.  I am very glad that I have a friend in the Lord like you.  At the present time we do not need money, we still have a difficult way out after the war, perhaps then help can be provided.  Now we need your prayers.  Pray for peace in our country, for the people we help and preach about Christ.  Pray for Russia that they stop hurting us.  Pray for the shepherds so that the Lord will give them strength and wisdom to endure these trials.  I am learning to rejoice in the hardships the Lord has placed me in.

(Central Ukraine)   Thank you dear brother! Me and my family are fine! every day we help displaced people and try to send help to hot spots! There is still enough humanitarian aid, but there is a problem with the delivery to hot spots, many are afraid to give cars or go there. But we pray and believe that God will provide everything!

(Kiev)  Today at five in the morning in the area of the Lukyanovsk metro the enemy hit the house with a rocket.  There are 16 floors and almost the whole house burned down.  It is three and a half kilometers from us.  We woke up from the fact that our house shook our windows and the alarm went off in the cars standing in the yards.  We pray to the Lord God that such a calamity will pass us by!

My heart aches for your/our friends, Pastor Jerry. Thank you very much for the updates. I wish I had something profound to say. It seems disingenuous to quote a nice Scripture and move on. So — I will trust and obey.
