Shalom dear friends -

I pray that you are well and blessed! Thank you for your loving hearts and concern for Missions! We have been called to "Go!" and "care for the least of these."

We are intending to write a weekly update on the blog to help keep you informed about the countries God has given us to serve. There are wonderful and challenging events going on all over the world as Jesus prepares His bride for His imminent return!

Last Sunday, I mentioned on our Facebook Live Church Service two 5 star movies for you to consider looking at, which I believe will help inform your prayers for the work in Africa. "Mully" and "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind". We found both on Amazon Prime.

Another prayer concern is about our dear brother Enos Mutoka from Kenya. He arrived at the beginning of March for a one month stay to help raise funds for Amson School in the Matera Slum and money for a well on the property we lease to grow food for our lunch program. A group in California has committed to giving $3000/month to the teachers at Amson - a huge blessing from God!

The well is critical for the community in the Kisumu region in western Kenya and for irrigating our crops which often fail without adequate water. But even more urgent right now is getting our brother Enos home! His stay has lasted 4 months now and it has caused a serious hardship on both his family in Kenya and the many ministires there that he helps lead. Ray and Cathi Croese have been wonderful to host Enos during this time but the stay has lasted longer than anyone imagined!

A big part of the problem for his return is that Kenyan borders are closed to all but specific chartered flights which are more expensive than normal. Also, when he returns there is a mandatory quarantine period of 2-4 weeks in government approved housing. The cost for this looks like it will be about $4000. God is never hindered by money so we are asking for prayer as our Lord shows us just how this should be handled for His Glory!

All things work together for good... as we labor together in love for His purpose to prevail!

With much love in Him, jerry

Thanks for the update. And thanks for deciding to do this regularly. Would very much like to hear more about what happened in Bolivia.
