Last full day in Israel
It was a great blessing today to have several hours for prayer and Scripture reading, a short workout and walk for 7 or 8 miles from the hills at the retreat center down to the Sea of Galilee! (One of the pictures included is of the morning sunrise and the other looks like it could be one of Peter's fishing boats!) The schedule had been packed and God's gift today has been wonderfully refreshing! Just in time! We had another great night with the youth here at the retreat center. I love sharing with them and God's timing, as always, has been perfect!
I will be sad to say goodbye tomorrow as I head off for Africa! I meet Juan Carlos in Nairobi, if all goes well! We arrive from two different sides of the World only 45 minutes apart- he gets in at 2:45 am and I arrive at 3:30 am ( poor Enos!)! There are so many moving parts in all of these trips and so many ways for things to go sideways that I know without all of your faithful prayers we would be lost! Thank you in the midst of all of your own challenges and needs that you remember the purpose of these mission travels and all the people and children who are blessed and alive because of the commitments you have made to the Lord! Amazing!! Matthew 25:40

This makes me feel good that Jerry could have a little rest time in a special place.
Lord, we smile when we hear of youth placing their faith in You. We pray that their faith will grow. I pray for our faith to grow too as we read about Jerry and now Juan Carlos being sent by YOU. We surrender our plans to You. May Your presence be heavy on them and all you put in their path.
I am always so happy to hear that you will be seeing Enos. Our dear sweet Kenyan brother. Sue sent out a prayer request about violence and unrest because of the elections. I pray a hedge of protection over you, Juan Carlos, Enos and all of those innocent people who are at the mercy of those causing all the violence. I pray the hedge protects you inside and out, from the top of your head to your toes and encircles any and all who can see you. As you know, I always know you are going to be safe when I don't worry about you....I have great peace and no anxiety whatsoever. Jesus has got this and you. Much love -anita
Thank you for your faithful postings during the traveling. It truly helps to be able to focus on the things that need prayer. May the purposes of God and all of you being there, and all of you getting there probably miraculously, come to be a great glory to the Name of Jesus. And May myriads of angels encamp around you all. And lawlessness be dealt a resounding blow by our Lord God Almighty!! Eph. 3:20-21
