I was touched by how sincere and tender our dear Russian friend, Lyuba, and other believers in Russia are to being treated fairly and with respect!    Outside of Christ the World has no interest in fairness or trying to understand those who are not in our own camp!  Apart from the Lord, it is easy to judge others and make sweeping generalizations based on our very limited understanding of Truth (I Cor. 4:3-5).  Jesus said we are not even to treat our enemies this way (Luke 6:27,28), let alone other believers! Despite all the other tragedies in the War between Russia and Ukraine, the greatest victory for evil would be the destruction of the Church!  We can't let that happen...

Well Jerry, I'm in tears of gratitude again!

The Lord just reminded me that you were planning to write on your blog using part of my letter. I just had the honor of reading this!                          (The letter she wrote was posted on the Blog June 18th)

Oh, God, you are so kind to me, to all the people in Russia through Jerry! You have expressed in words what is hidden from the eyes of people - I am shocked by your love, sensitivity and responsiveness! I can't find the right words to thank you for such generous love!! And I am also grateful to those people who responded in the comments below the letter - thank you all for your support and sympathy! The Lord will reveal the Truth to us, He will not slow down! My prayers are with all of you, dear friends!

We are here praying with all of our hearts that this struggle will stop as soon as possible! May the Lord keep all of you in His hands! In Him, Lyuba

Through my Christian brothers and sisters in Russia and Ukraine I better understand how we are all precious in God’s sight, how we are truly of one church body. And I am reminded of the reality that life on this earth can be very challenging, so I need to be less selfish, and reach out to help my neighbors around the world. I so look forward to meeting Lyuba and all the saints some day.
