Our dear sister Judy, who is the principal at Graceland school in the Kibera slum, sends us an update every month.  The school is in one of the most desparate areas of the world!  Judy and the staff have left secure, good paying jobs to serve kids who were often left alone all day while their mothers looked for any kind of income they can find.

These kids are learning English, the national language, but poorly used among the needy and uneducated- which gives them little hope for employment. Graceland is staffed by godly men and women who are pouring their lives into these dear children and teaching a full orbed curriculum of math, language, history, geography, hygiene, and relationship skills with very little financial support! But everything at the school is bathed in the love of Jesus, which for all of us is the greatest necessity of all...

"Hello my dear friend Jerry! Yes my health is good and we are all well.

That is our  new teacher Philip handling grade 2 and 3 learners. We lost quite a number of learners like 24 to the public schools and some to the  schools that sponsors them  fully uniform, food but God is gracious we have 22 New admissions we can only praise God and thank you for prayers. We are at 80 and am trusting God to expand us to 150 and grow our finances he is able!!

Lord God, thank You for this model of helping our neighbors. How shall we/I help?
