Graceland

The second day we were in Nairobi, June 22nd, we headed for Graceland, the preschool we have been supporting that takes babies, toddlers, and young children off the streets. It is amazing to watch the teachers who have committed themselves to start this life saving work without any resource at all, they just knew the need was too desperate to ignore. They are well educated but also live in the slums and know these kids are doomed if no one steps up!  They have about 40 kids in two rooms about half the size of our office.  We were able to leave some money to give the teachers some personal support for food and money to help them move into a bigger space and allow more kids to be taken off the streets! Like all the schools we are partnering with, all the kids get a good meal for lunch that for many is their only substantial food for the day...Matt.25:40
