Today we went to visit a new feeding program that started at the beginning of the Russian invasion, Feb. 24th, 2022.

Tanya and Diana Bokoch are leading the effort to feed and care for 1000's of refugees coming from the areas East of Dnepro, having been displaced by the War. This program is a joint effort of World Vision, USAID, etc.

The shelling here has increased everywhere as both Russia and Ukraine begin their Spring offensive!   Many believe this may be the turning point in the War but one way or another it certainly means great loss of life and limb with 1000's of homes and businesses destroyed!

Churches contine to be the primary provider for great humanitarian crises as 100's of 1,000's of refugees flee their cities in the East where the fighting and bombs are the most intense.  Finding a place for everybody means using every available space!

Irina is working with other women who themselves are refugees to provide daily meals in a mobile kitchen- trailer provided by World Vision and others. We were asked to visit the work here in Novomoscosk. They heard that we had come into the City and called to our hosts last night saying what an honor it is to have us share a meal with them!  They wondered if there wasn't something special they could prepare?  They heard I liked Borscht and were tickled to bring it out as a special gift!  We have been treated so kindly everywhere we have gone so far!  People are really grateful that we are here and not afraid  to be with them during the War! I just keep telling them that we love them and of course we would be here, especially when the need is so great!

We drove just outside the City of Novomoscosk to look at a Retreat Ctr. that is for sale.  It has 7 or 8 really nice buildings and about 20 acres of land right on the water! It can accommodate about 200 people and is available for around $400,000.   I told them I have no money and I never ask anyone but God for financial supply, but I would be willing to pray with them to see if God wants this property for His purposes or not and if He does, money is never a problem. He has cattle on a 1000 hills and many people who just wait for His call! .

The pictures above include a pool and spa as well as one of the apt. buildings at the Retreat Ctr. I have been asked to speak at a huge Youth Conf. here in the past and also a pastor's Conference. It really is a neat facility!
