The following is part of another blog from one of our dearest friends, Nadya Gordynsky.  She was one of my Young Life kids back in the early 90's in Russia (originally from Ukraine). Now Nadya is founder and President of an Int'l ministry that gives desperately needed support for unwed and single moms who are completely ignored by their society!  This amazing ministry has expanded throughout Ukraine, Romania and Poland!  Now the U.S. gov't has asked for her help to carry this program into other Countries around the World, even though it is faith based and clearly based on the teachings of Jesus!

It almost a week since I returned from my trip. It is hard to adjust, not because of the time difference, but the reality is different too. It's like two parallel worlds: one is full of action, no time to sleep, have to run back and forth, nothing normal, everything unpredictable, one time you laugh next moment you cry and your heart is breaking. The other world here is still on alarm, but you don’t have to drive to the border in the middle of night, you don’t see those faces in the freezing weather, lost , scared and very sad, you don’t have a chance to put your arms around the tinny body of a girl that just lost her home and she is just like little kitten huddles next to you. This world Is different: Even that you dream all night about the camp and refugees, you wake up in the warm bed, and have a nice cup of coffee in the nice warm house. Forgive me for telling you about how I feel, but that is the truth...

With much love and gratitude,
