On Wednesday June 23rd, we visited Amson School in the Mathare slum for the 2nd time.  They had rented a hall near their classrooms so they could pull all the kids together in one room!  It was difficult to not get emotional when we walked in to their joyful singing, realizing that there are over 200 kids we are feeding six days a week- they are all beautiful and flourishing!     Each of the classes put on a program for us and they sang over and over again about the goodness and joy of the Lord and how much they love Him! (I have several videos of the time which I can show far more than I could convey in this short note, but hopefully soon we can share this humbling expression of love!)

After the assembly we went back to the classrooms. They returned by classes, lined up walking together through the slum and stopping in front of the school to take a class picture with Rolfe and I before they entered the building.
