What a joy it is to celebrate our Fifth Anniversary – providing school lunches for children in Kenya from 2015 to 2020! What a humbling and significant marker this milestone of miracles represents! We started in the Fall of 2015, at the lowest ebb of our financial resources as a church, but still convinced that God had called us to feed His children. It started with $500 / month and has grown to $2,000 / month, feeding over 700 school children a day in the Bukura School in western Kenya and an additional 350 a day at Amson School in the Mathare Slum in Urban Nairobi. That’s over 26,000 meals a month! The kids, staff, parents and our dear brother Enos Mutoka and his family have worked tirelessly to stretch each of these dollars out for the maximum number of meals. They form a tremendous partnership in this amazing work of God! But, from 1st to last, the power and honor behind all of this belongs entirely to our Lord Jesus Christ. From the very beginning until this day, every need has been met, on time, out of God’s great compassion!   Matt. 25:40:  The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' What we realized early on was that giving up one $5 cup of coffee a week could provide a wholesome meal for 20 kids six days a week for a whole month! Often, the staff in Kenya reminds us that many of these kids would not be alive without this meal. My prayer is that God will allow us to continue the privilege of caring for these beautiful children, who by God’s grace, will one day be raised up to become great leaders in God’s Kingdom and in the World. No matter where He sends them we believe they have been saved for His glory! Thank you dear friends for your faithfulness to God’s call! And by His grace, He will continue to build our faith in His faithfulness and power to do abundantly more than all we could possibly think or imagine, for His glory! With much love, jerry

That warms my heart. Those families and staff are precious in God's sight. And precious to us too.
