Shalom, dear Jerry!

We thank God for His love, blessings and protection.

The Russian army continues to constantly send shells and rockets to Kharkov. August 24 was Independence Day in our country. Of course, such a holiday irritates the military-political leaders of Russia very much. Therefore, for this day they planned a large-scale shelling of Kharkov and other cities. But the Church has more powerful weapons than cruise missiles. This is fasting and prayer. The churches of Kharkov have appointed fasting and prayer on Independence Day. The Lord answered our prayer in a special way. At night, a cruise missile exploded over our church building. The blast wave damaged one large window in the main hall and caused some more minor damage. At the same time, the Lord saved all 6 people who were in the church building. During the day there were shelling of Kharkov, but there were no large-scale shelling. The Lord canceled the plans of the enemies. Glory to our Lord!

Jerry, how are you? Lena and I are praying for your mission trip to Israel and Africa. How was the issue of feeding children solved in Kenya? From what I heard, ships with Ukrainian grain have already been unlocked. Did it help Kenyans get enough food?

We continue to pray for your ministry. May the Lord keep you on your way home. Ps.31:1-3.

In His love, Gennadii

[Lord God, please keep the saints in Ukraine safe. Please change Mr. Putin’s heart. Please stop the war by noon. I know You are sovereign and powerful, and You have the best plan. And that our prayers matter. May these little prayers help the people of Ukraine and Russia immensely. Thank you, Lord!]
