Before leaving Chernivtsi to head home to Kiev, Lev wrote this encouraging testimony to God's faithfulness:

Shalom, dear brother Jerry,

Thank you very much for your and your loved ones' prayers.

Thanks to the Lord for the fact that He protected me on the way to Lviv and balked without a queue, and came home with a full tank.

I thank God that I could see His love, hear Him and follow His commands.   God is great and wonderful.   I was very pleased to meet with new peoples, hear from and share them.   Most importantly, always and in everything with us, God was above everything, and He gave us the opportunity to share love.

Also, I’m sending you photos from Maksym and Yulia. Today, they were with our close friends, they took over medicines, food for them and set aside financial assistance.  In the photo you can see a young girl, she is 35 years old, but she is disabled, her kidneys do not work, and she goes to hemodialysis for a long time three times a week and takes medication all the time.  They live very poor.  But, your blessing made it possible to take care of people.

Tomorrow I will go and buy medicine for a man, a church member, in Russia. I will give the medicines to his wife, she specially came to Ukraine for what to give him the medicines, since there are none in Russia. God does wonderful things and shows that we love both Ukrainians in Russians and give us the opportunity to show our love to them.

In God’s love, Lev

Dear Lev - I pray my favorite psalm for you....because you are soaring on wings of an eagle. "Isaiah 40:31 NLT ~ But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Thank you for all that you are doing for Christ's people no matter whether they are Urkrainian or Russian...in His love - anita

Our God is so wonderfully faithful and true. As I read Dr. Lev’s testimony I feel like Rhoda at the gate looking at Peter out of jail and not being able to take it in. May God‘s Holy Spirit fill you with his power and understanding and wisdom and most of all his love. Thank you for sharing with us.
