Jerry was scheduled to arrive in Romania this morning (our time) and as I wait for confirmation and details, I thought I would share 2 letters from one of our dear friends in Russia that Jerry forwarded to me while on route...

I hope it will be an encouragement to you as it has been for me of God's amazing and precious love for His saints, no matter where they live! The picture is of Lyuba with her husband, children and mom, when Jerry was with them in  October...

Shalom, dear brother Jerry!

We are doing well by the grace of God. Our hearts grieve only for all those who endure pain and deprivation these days, who lose their loved ones... Yes, of course, you can share  my letter in your blog. I trust you and you can share our correspondence whenever you see fit. I hope that this will help some of friends to feel our empathy for all the troubles in Ukraine...    Dear Friend, thank you for sharing your upcoming plans, I am mentally and prayerfully there with you and all of you! It's so selflessly!..  May the Lord grant you a clear path and the movement of the Holy Spirit on every way! May the mercy of the Lord keep you!! I will write a little later in response to your testimony of meeting the Lord in Colombia. In His love, lyuba

Shalom, my dear Friend, Brother and Pastor Jerry! I am very grateful to you for your letters! I read again and again your testimony of meeting the Lord in Colombia!! It's an amazing experience, so gentle and vibrant at the same time! I can imagine how exciting that moment was! The Lord is always faithful, He does not ask for anything, except to belong completely to Him!! I dream to become one too! Please accept my sincere gratitude for sharing these personal and intimate experiences! I will keep this in my heart and memory, especially in case we meet not as soon as we would like. I miss you dear Jerry! Your life has acquired a special meaning for everyone around you! I pray with all my heart and will continue to pray for your entire journey to Ukraine and for the time and help there! May the Lord shed His love on all neighbors there through your presence and care! And I also pray for your beautiful Sue, for her steadfastness and comfort in the moment of your absence. You and dear Sue are amazing gifts and examples for me!! I conveyed all your warm greetings, hugs and thanks to our church! Everyone was very happy about it! I am looking forward to the time when this struggle between countries will stop and we can all enjoy communication with each other again in the peace!  P.S. Jerry, you presented my letter in your blog so warmly and responsively. I don't deserve such kind words, you dignified me so that I was embarrassed..Thank you for everything!  In fact, there are other sisters in our church who are even more zealous than me in group prayer work! They need to be given their due credit! Have a good and blessed journey!! Please, hug Nastya and Maxim Kushnir for me! And please, convey the words of deep reverence for all ministers in Kiev and Kharkiv! The Lord be with you all! You are in our hearts and prayers!!  In the love of Jesus, lyuba. Vova, Ilya and Timofey are joining me!

Finally, dear friends, if you are still reading the blog - I know you are also praying, and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart! sue

Praying for Jerry and Rolfe. As well as all of our brothers and sisters. Please pass on our fervent prayers for the Ukrainians, they have not been forgotten.
And as for Sue and Leah - we are praying for The Peace that surpasses all understanding. You hold down the home front during a very tense time. But God is Good. He is with you. In the meantime, rest in the company of your families and friends.
You are ALL loved.
