I am hoping to get an update from Jerry soon, but in the meantime I thought it was important to let you know the plans for the coming days as you lift him and all of our team up in prayer!

Max intended to drive Jerry and Rolf to Lviv today where they hope to meet up with Dr. Lev who is deeply involved with people needing medical care there and in surrounding villages. From there, they also plan to travel to Kiev and on to Kharkiv in the central and eastern parts of Ukraine. (The blog on April 9th shows a map with those cities to give you an idea of where they are...)

As I pray, the Lord continues to encourage me to take on his full armor and to wield my powerful sword and declare scripture over Jerry and Rolfe and all of our dear friends there,  (Eph. 6:10-18)  and I want to encourage you to do the same!  I believe God has called us together for such a time as this to stand not as observers but as a mighty army of prayer warriors! May God bless YOU and encourage YOU today!

Dear Sue - I pray that during all of this that you and your family are enjoying each others company. I am sure they are keeping you hopping with all kinds of things only a grandmother can do. I am currently "not watching but watching" Aeddan and Angus while their mom and dad are out of town for a couple of days, lol. I have strict instructions to leave them alone so they can be allowed to have the responsibility of taking care of themselves. But, I was also told it is comforting to know I am right next door should they need me. I have been obedient in this assignment but it is kind of hard....it makes me sad that they are old enough that they don't need me. Just another "gramma" thing we grammas have to do or go through. Enjoy this precious gift of time with them since, as you know, it goes by too quickly. Take care my friend and can't wait to see you. much love - anita

Praying for travel safety and comforts. Considering that there are powerful, unseen dark forces, but God provides effective defenses. Also for peace in the families back home.

Dear friends, thank you so much for being so faithful with the blog. And it keeps things in Ukraine front and center in my thinking and praying. I pray that Rolphe is feeling better by now. And that you have been able to make the trip to Lviv. We thankfully pray to a wonderful Lord who fed 5000 people with two fish and five loaves of bread. And so we asked for his great mercy that these people will get what they need. All our trust is in Him. . Mostly praying Ephesians 3:14-21. That you all be strengthened in your inner being with the power of His love and watch for Him to do more than we could ever ask or think or hope or dream.
