Post from Oct. 23:  Pastor Jerry was scheduled to leave on the current Mission trip last Wednesday - but in the process of applying for a travel visa for Russia - his passport has been delayed in Washington D.C.! That meant we had to cancel the first week of the trip and we rescheduled his departure for today, Wednesday, October 23rd. He is sad to miss his time in Chernivtsi, Ukraine but as always, we know the Lord goes before us in everything and we are trusting Him for all of the details. They  assured us that the passport would arrive this morning by 8:30 am  which was cutting it close because we needed to leave for the airport at 10am! God is so good! We were very peaceful - but excited to find it on our porch just in time!!
Jerry will travel to Kiev and then go directly to Eastern Ukraine where he will be meeting with pastors to plan together for next summer's ministries. From there he flies to Tel Aviv to meet with dear friends and make plans for a National Prayer Breakfast. The last part of the trip will be in Moscow and Krasnodar before heading home on November 26th. Your prayers are so critical!!  Stay tuned for all the details, wonderful stories and testimonies of God's faithfulness!
Post from Oct. 24Pastor Jerry is still "mid-travel" on the first leg of his journey  but I just wanted to give you an update because I know so many of you are praying and fasting faithfully for his trip! As you know from the first post below, he left Seattle yesterday, and now we know he arrived safely in London, had a few hour layover before flying on to Kiev, and then he boarded an all night train to Kharkov in Eastern Ukraine! He should be arriving there about now - roughly 33 hours later if my calculations are correct! We'll all be anxious for details when he gets some time, some rest and a cell connection!!
