Now that Pastor Jerry has landed in the East of Ukraine, he's had a few moments to gather his thoughts and tell us more about his last days - flying from Israel to Kiev and then Chernivtsi: On May 28th Sue and I flew from Tell Aviv to Kiev.  As soon as we arrived at the Airport she had to head over to the transfer area for her flight to Gatwick and then Seattle.  We had about three minutes to say 'good-bye' and then she was off!  After 50 some years now it is not any easier... I made my way to the Hotel in Kiev which is across the street from the Prayer Breakfast venue. The next morning I had a chance to work out and then my dear brother Maxim Kushnir arrived.  He is tremendous with several languages and was translating not only for me but for everyone at the Breakfast over headphones! The Breakfast was May 30th and was a powerful experience for everyone.he night of the Presidential Breakfast I headed back down to Chernivtsi for some more meetings and to be a part of a wedding for a very dear friend!  Alina has been one of our young discipleship women for almost ten years.  She and her new husband Vova, are going to the mission field in primarily Muslim Countries in Eastern Europe. There is hardly a more difficult place to start anywhere in the World but God has filled this young couple with the Holy Spirit and a powerful understanding of the Gospel!  I have a speech from Deut. 24:5 that I gave them about the first year of marriage and I am praying our dear Lord will make provision to guard this critical beginning in their life together... (A few VIP wedding guests are in the slide show - first is of Max and Nastya, second - Sophia, Stas and Vera-3 of Max and Nastya's sweet kids. Mary Elizabeth was sleeping! Third photo is Diana with sister Marina.
