Pictures from our last days in Ethiopia...

1.      The former street boy, Ben, who now owns a very successful Architectural firm in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa. He is a very dear friend and one of God's amazing wonders!    

2.      Many hugs and many dear friends who showed up after a long working day to express love for each other as family in Christ- God only has one church!      

3.      Instead of candles on the cake they had about a dozen little tea candles that I held and would ask for God's blessing over the special needs of our friends there and a merciful end to the Civil War in Ethiopia! Over 500,00 have been killed so far!

4.      Farewells at my surprise birthday party the night before we left for home!

5.      This is husband and wife, Ahadu and Ane' Gabreamlak who didn't want to miss out on the hugging, even with each other!

6.      Ahadu is one of my dearest friends and a great leader in Ethiopia- even more importantly, a faithful servant of Jesus Christ.

7.      It was so fun to have Gabrielle Weber with us in Africa for the first time! Our first meeting was when she was only 5 years old! What a sweet servant of the Lord!

8.      Many dear friends and ministry partners showed up for my surprise birthday party! The woman behind me in red, was the former first lady of Ethiopia! The day before we met with our dear friend, Marta Gabre-Tsadick and her husband Deme. Marta was the first woman prime minister of Ethiopia...
