1.   This little brother followed me the whole morning- I think he is practicing for the silver screen!

2.   They have 50-60 kids in a class and you can't hear a peep unless they are called on!

3.   We had a chance to talk to several classes and encourage them to 'Dream big with God' and begin that dream with the hard work it takes to be the best!

4.   Juan Carlos was mobbed all day, they just loved him and were excited to learn a few Spanish words which no one had ever heard before!

Jerry and Juan Carlos ,
I love what you are sharing with them. They are focus learners with so many students. Fun to Juan teaching them too. Blessings lots of energy

I think about the terrific behavior of the kids in school that Jerry writes about. Maybe they have a perspective of how fortunate they are, compared to some others in their region without food and education. This makes me think about how fortunate I am to have not only earthly essentials, but especially eternal ones.

I had 4 to 6 students in my tutoring group at Highline High School and there were times I couldn't get them to shut up, lol. I don't think there is a teacher alive that wouldn't want to have a classroom full of students like this. This is what realizing an education is your only way out of poverty looks like....they are learning as if their lives depend on it. It does. Thank you Jesus for providing them the means and opportunity to improve their lives. PS: Juan Carlos just has the kind of heart that attracts kids...they know they are in the present of the Holy Spirit. Safe travels my friend. much love anita
